The Corsa VXR Nürburgring Edition is powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine which produces 205-horses at 5,750rpm and 250-280Nm (184-207 lb-ft) of torque, up from 192HP and 230-266Nm (170-196 lb-ft).

With a new heart, this Corsa runs the 0-60mph (96km/h) sprint in 6.5 seconds and tops out at 143mph (230km/h).

To differentiate the car esthetically the VXR Nürburgring Edition gets stainless steel dual exhaust tips, newly designed forged aluminium wheels in high-gloss grey, and ‘Nürburgring’ logos on the B-Pillars and front spoiler lip, while there are also two new colors to choose from, apple green ‘Grasshopper’ and red ‘Henna’.

Interior upgrades include the black and red ‘Nürburgring’ lettering on the sill plates and front Recaro seat backs, plus the white stitching on all seats, as well as the handbrake and gearshift console.
