Senner Tuning has unveiled a new package for the 2012 S5 Coupe.

The German company has massaged the S5's 3.0 V6 TFSI, lifting output from 328bhp (333PS) and 440Nm (324 lb-ft) to 371bhp (377PS) and 500Nm (369 lb-ft) through a series of upgrades that include a ECU optimization, a sports air filter and a custom exhaust system.

Its other performance features include the Variant 3 Inox Line-KW coilovers with adjustable height, rebound and pressure level, and a set of 20-inch Corniche Challenge wheels wrapped in Vredestein Wintrac Extreme tires size 245/30.

The A3 has undergone a major overhaul in terms of design and yet it can pass off as a minor facelift.... from the Ingolstat based company

At 4,237mm long, 1,421mm tall and 1,777mm wide, the new A3 has about the same height and length as its predecessor but is 12mm wider and rides on a 23mm longer wheelbase that measures 2,601mm.

The hexagonal single-frame grille, large air intakes and the headlights with a wave-shaped lower edge and Audi’s signature LED daytime running lights create a familiar look that is instantly recognizable.

Audi claims that the low angle of the C-pillar and the sloping roof give the three-door A3 a coupe-like look that is emphasized by the large wheel arches, the flared metal surfaces and the diffuser insert on the rear bumper.

The 2013 A3 is the first VW Group model to use the brand-new modular MQB platform, which is flexible enough to underpin many different models. Weight reduction has been a prime objective during the car’s development. The hood and fenders are made of aluminum saving more than 9 kg (19.84 lb), and the chassis uses form-hardened and hot-formed steel for the underbody, the A- and B-pillars and the roof arch, and high- and ultra-high-strength steel in other parts of the body.

“The right material in the right place” guideline has resulted in the A3 1.4 TFSI weighing 1,175 kg (2,590 lb) – which is 80 kg (176.37 lb) less than its predecessor and a relaticely low figure for the class.

Inside, Audi promises the high-quality soft materials that we have come to expect from the company in all of its models. The dashboard brings to mind that of the smaller A1, with a sportier and more detailed instrument binnacle and a driver-oriented center console that features an optional folding touch screen and the MMI multimedia system.

According to the company, the rear seat can accommodate three adults and the boot has a capacity of 365 lt (12.89 cubic feet).

At launch, the new A3 will be available with two gasoline and one diesel engine.

The 1.4 TFSI produces 120hp (122PS) and 200Nm (147.5 lb-ft) of torque at just 1,500 rpm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 9.3 seconds and attains a top speed of 203 km/h (126 mph), while consuming only 5.2 lt/100 km (45.2 US mpg) and emitting 120 g/km of CO2.

The most potent version is motivated by the 178hp (180PS), 250Nm (184.4 lb-ft) 1.8-liter TFSI. Its 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time is 7.2 seconds and it reaches a top speed of 232 km/h (144 mph), yet its average fuel consumption and CO2 emissions at 5.6 lt/100 km (42.0 US mpg) and 130 g/km respectively are only slightly higher than the 1.4-liter unit.

Those hell-bent on low fuel consumption will almost certainly choose the frugal 2.0-liter TDI engine. It boasts a combined figure of just 4.1 lt/100 km (57.37 US mpg) and 106 g/km of CO2, yet with a 8.6-second 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint and a 216 km/h (134 mph) top speed it is no slouch.

The 1.4 TFSI and 2.0 TDI engines will initially be available with a six-speed manual gearbox and the 1.8 TFSI will be equipped with a seven-speed dual-clutch S tronic as standard.

2013 Audi RS4 Avant

After we got our first-taste of the new RS4 through a handful of leaked images earlier today, Audi has now officially pulled the sheets off the flagship model of its A4 series.

The RS4 makes its comeback as a station wagon featuring the same 4.2-liter V8 engine found in the RS5 models. The naturally aspirated eight-cylinder unit is good for 450PS (444bhp) at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 430 Nm (317.15 lb-ft) available from 4,000 to 6,000 rpm. That's a 30bhp improvement over the previous RS4.

Audi's seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission and quattro permanent all-wheel drive with up to 70 percent flowing to the front or as much as 85 percent to the rear with a default 40:60 ratio, transfer power to the road.

According to the German automaker, the RS4 Avant can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.7 seconds and reach a governed top speed of 250 km/h (155mph), which can be increased to 280 km/h (174mph) upon request, while consuming less than 11lt/100km on average (21.4mpg US).

Like other RS models in Audi's range, the RS4 Avant features a revised chassis. Among other upgrades, there's a new speed-dependent electromechanical power steering, a taut suspension setup that lowers the body by 20 millimeters (0.79 in), and a new brake package with 365 millimeters (14.37 in) front discs. As an option, Audi offers 380-millimeter (14.96 in) carbon fiber ceramic discs with six-piston calipers for the front axle.

The RS4 Avant rides on 19-inch, ten-spoke forged aluminum wheels shod with 265/35-series tires as standard, but Audi also offers 20-inch wheels with 265/30-series tires as an option.

In typical Audi fashion, the RS4 Avant is subtly aggressive featuring newly designed bumpers, side skirts, a rear diffuser, a different front grille in a matte aluminum-look finish with a honeycomb insert, slightly flared wheel arches, a discrete roof spoiler and aluminum-look mirror housings.

Audi says that the RS4 is 20 millimeters (0.79 in) longer and 24 millimeters (0.94 in) wider than the A4 Avant, but 20 millimeters (0.79 in) lower.

In the cabin, we find a pair of sports seats and a flat bottom, multifunction steering wheel up front, along with carbon inlays on the dash and aluminum inserts on the door sills. Like the regular A4 Avant models, the RS4 offers up to 1,430 liters (50.50 cu ft) of cargo space.

After its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show next month, the RS4 Avant will arrive in European dealerships in fall 2012 with a base price of €76,600 (about US$99,900) in Germany. No word on whether it will be offered in North America, but we wouldn't bet on it. More Wallpaper!

2013 Audi A4

The A4 gets an updated look which comes with a new six-point grille and sharper looking headlamps with LED daytime running lights that form a narrow band, redesigned front and rear bumpers, plus tweaked tail lights that reflect the shape of the head lights and come with LED strips.

Moving in the designers refined the A4's interior with a new selection of steering wheel designs and fresh color options, while the company also made changes to the steering arm and the ignition key.

Keeping up with the more power for less fuel trend the new range of TFSI engines features the following highlights for the European market :

1.8-liter TFSI petrol that delivers 170HP and 320 Nm (236.02 lb-ft) of torque. In the sedan, it returns a combined fuel economy of 5.6 lt/100km (42.0 US mpg) with CO2 emission of 134 grams per km (215.65 g/mile), which represents a 19 percent decrease in consumption compared with the previous engine.

The 2.0-liter TDI is offered in three states of tune producing 136HP (100kW), 163HP (120kW) and 177HP (130kW). The 136HP version is the most fuel-efficient delivering an average consumption of 4.2 lt/100 km (56.0 US mpg) with CO2 emissions of 112 grams per km (180.25 g/mile).

The 3.0-liter V6 TFSI being the most potent of all produces 272HP in the A4 and 333HP in the S4. The latter is available in both sedan and Avant variants. The S4 sedan goes from zero to 100km/h (62mph) in 5.0 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) while returning an average fuel consumption of 8.0 liters per 100 km (29.40 US mpg).

Too much power is never a bad thing, at least this is what Motoren Technik Mayer, aptly known as MTM believe when it comes to upgrading powerful German wheels.

The firm's most recent project concerns the Audi RS3 Sportback that is normally powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five generating 340-horses and 450 Nm (331 lb-ft) of torque, which are good for a 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) acceleration time of 4.6 seconds and a limited top speed of 250km/h (155mph).

MTM offers buyers a choice of three engine packages, the first of which includes a modified ECU that lifts output to 410HP and 550Nm (406 lb-ft). The second stage kit adds a downpipe together with a new intercooler and exhaust system that helps up power to 424HP and 560Nm (413 lb-ft).

If the options above still fails to satisfy your appetite .. then the Stage 3 kit throws in a turbocharger pushing output to 472HP and 600Nm (443 lb-ft).
